Nosara 2016 - Day Cinco y Seis

OG Post: November 18th, 2016
Costa Rica: Day Cinco y Seis Wednesday was our last full day in Nosara. We didn't have a morning session for the retreat so we cranked on working the release more that morning, getting administrative stuff worked out and figuring out our game plan for getting back out of the jungle the next day.

After some time we got back out and about and headed to the afternoon session where it was a wrap-up. There was someone on one time getting feedback from the pros' that had come out to speak. Afterward, we all where to meet for dinner together at La Luna. That was on the other side of the cove and was a very interesting drive back through the jungle to get to the other side. We arrived and saw one of the most beautiful coves I've ever experienced. Once we took it all and and got all the photos we could before the sunset. We went back to the restaurant and had dinner on the porch. You don't really know how good food can be until you eat something that fresh. The whole evening was good food, good booze, great tunes being played (Bonobo, Emancipator, RJD2, Massive Attack), and even better conversation.

After dinner we went back for one last hurrah at La Negra. While there we partying and talking there was a group need for more smokes. I had a few packs from my carton so Jeronimo gave me the keys to his motorcycle to go back and grab them. That is the way to drive through the Jungle, on a motorcycle. It was so fun.

We ended up at the Skatepark after La Negra closed. They have a really legit skate park there. Jeronimo set up some cool fire spinning and more drinks where had. It finally came time to go back and go to sleep. Before we did the Bronze Whale team walked down to the beach for a hasta luego. We packed up and fell asleep.

The next day was an early start we jumped into action and where on the road at 8:30am. The jungle dirt roads that where crazy scary at night when we drove in where beautiful nice on the ride back. We made it to Libera for a quick bite and then on to the airport. Everything went fine with the car rental, but our flight was delayed enough where we couldn't make our connecting flight. We got rerouted to American Airlines, which I can't complain about, cause more miles for me. We had to reroute to Miami a longer flight but got us back to Austin sooner. Besides a bombass Cuban at Versailles the rest of the trip back was long but not to adventurous. Got home at about 11:30PM. Friday today has been a day of trying to get back to it.
